Maniguin Island (Culasi, Antique)

Maniguin (Maningning) Island

            Another potential tourist destination, commonly known as Maningning. It will take 3 hours and 30 minutes ride by means of pump boat/motorboat from coast of Poblacion. Like so many islands, Maniguin also enjoys favourable climatic conditions. This island has rich oil and mineral deposits. Aside of the perfect and nice view, Maningning was also characterize as a fine and white sand island. 

              It has historical landmarks in the area called the lighthouse and bunkhouse which are built in 1901. The lighthouse has 87 steps or equivalent of 90 feet high while the bunkhouse used as their accommodation facilities whenever visitors come to their place. This island is perfect for diving and swimming in clear and clean water.

MALUMPATI COLD SPRING RESORT

     Pandan is known for their native delicacy and handicraft products that trades it for the tourists as the travel souvenirs and gifts. Aside of the cottage industry, Pandan was also a place of tourist destination that attracts tourist to experience the eco-adventure and nature activities of Antique. It was a Malumpati Spring Resort. You will travel 3.5 km from the national highway. The entrance fee cost 20.00. In Malumpati, you will feel the extreme cold water frosting in your body. Its quite deep but you will enjoy diving and swimming in the water. The Malumpati Resort is a wide river with a clear and clean water. It has cottages and stores. It has indoor activities like nature trekking and zip line that gives enjoyment and adventure in the tourists.

Sebaste, Antique

    Taking a glimpse on high, rocky, heavy flowing cold waterfalls attracts for whosever wanted to see it. It is located in Sebaste, Antique, Philippines. It is called as the Igpasungaw Falls. You can reach the place from the crossing in Sebaste consisting approximately 1 hour foot trail travel. It’s quite difficult to travel going to the falls because it has a zigzag road. The entrance fee is affordable in just 30 pesos. There is no store and cottages in this place, but you will enjoy capturing the beauty of nature because of the heavy flow of waterfalls, green tall trees, tweeting of birds and it looks like a jungle place.

Then, Igpasungaw falls is considered as virgin because there are only few people who discovered and visited this place. Also, you will love to dive in a clean, clear, and cold water came from the unstoppable flowing of the waterfalls. The view of the place is like a secret garden because of the amazing and beautiful environment surrounded of different living and non-living things/ organism that brings beauty and wonders. For sure, you will appreciate and like to experience this unseen spot of Sebaste.

NOGAS ISLAND

Experiencing the wonderful places in Antique is worth to remember. So, another eco-destination will refresh us from our stressful and busy life. You will not regret to witness and experience the wonderful place of Anini-y. Anini-y is known because of its unique and nice spot of Nogas Island and the popular Siraan Hot Spring of Antique. Nogas Island is a white sand beach with beautiful view of the sea that attracts the tourist to spend their leisure time enjoying the beauty of nature.

In Nogas Island, you will smell the fresh air because it surrounded of many trees that keeps our health safe. Also, you can have picture taking/ photoshoot in a Frangipani-Lined Path while passing in the nice view of Calachuchi flower. You can dive or swim anytime in the cool splash of the waves and clean crystal blue color of the sea. Also, you can have a family bonding and summer vacation in Nogas Island. Then, you can also visit and experience the Siraan Hot Spring. It looks like a swimming pool but the water inside is warm. This hot spring relieves stresses and pains in our body. It was already visited of many tourist that makes them really enjoyed and satisfied.  

   

Batbatan Island (Culasi, Antique)

      Are you looking for another one place to capture and experience? Well, try to visit and endure the beautiful island called Batbatan. Before you reach the island, you need to ride using the pump boat and it takes one hour. You will travel 17 kilometres off coast of Poblacion. This island comprises of nine sitios with an area of 142 hectares. To describe this island, it has white and pebbly sand. The blue wide sea attracts you to swim because of its clean and clear water. The different kinds of coral reef were also present in this island. You will love the view of this island.

Tibiao, Antique: Experience “KAWA” and the Bugtong Bato Falls

  Have you try to dive in a cold and heavy flow of the falls? Well, you can experience that here in Tuno, Tibiao, Antique. You have two options to reach the place; you need to ride using the Habal-habal (motorcycle) or a 20 minutes foot trail going to Tuno. The entrance fee cost 50.00. The Bugtong Bato Falls has three big stones wherein the people take or use it as the jumping area or diving place bump to the water. Many tourists already visited this falls because of its crystal clean water. Zip Line, Diving, White River Kayaking, Nature Trekking are the common eco-adventure to be experienced and enjoyed. 

Also, it has 1-km two way zip line, the longest zip line in Panay. You will see the wide blue color of the atmosphere and in the bottom the green tall trees. This experience will help you to face your fear of heights. If you wish to rest, you can try to relax in a large vat (Kawa) with warm water inside. Your body will feel smooth, painless and it relieves stresses. Everyone considered it as Kawa Hot Bath. Aside of Zip line adventure, White water River Kayaking was also an activity that you should not miss. This adventure will enhance your adrenaline rush. You will fight the heavy flow of water while crossing the rocky way. Also, you can experience to across in Malakagat and Tigbaboy hanging bridge. Culasi, Antique: Where Malalison Island Is

  Culasi takes great pride in its natural beauty, located 90 km north of San Jose de Buenavista- the capital town, and 88 km south of Kalibo, Aklan. As an ecotourism destination, the main attraction in Culasi is the white and fine sand beach, Malalison Island. It is one of the most beautiful places for summer vacation and travel. It was already featured in some news because of its extraordinary shape and virginity of the island. In Malalison, no eatery, no condominium, no hotels, and no electricity. Just people who have chosen to live with a simple life and depend on their basic needs. From the port, Malalison will reach within fifteen minutes by a small fishing boat. Aside from the grassy and pebbly landscapes, Malalison’s two caves and adjacent islet, Nablag, may also be explored and adventured. This island is rich of marine life living the different kinds of fishes in the limestone coral reef. Malalison is also a dive and snorkeling spot. You can do whatever you want to explore while roaming and climbing the hills. Many artist and tourists already visited this island, because of their curiosity to experience the Malalison. 

In Culasi, you can also experience to climb the formidable Mt. Madjaas, the highest peak in Panay. Mt. Madjaas is 2,117 meters above sea level. The summit is approximately 137 degrees inclination. It has 14 waterfalls cascading down its slopes. Many mountaineers already climb and experience the adventurous and magisterial mountain, Mt. Madjaas, as the legend says. So, you can now visit Culasi, Antique to feel the real beauty of its unique islands and beautiful mountains.

What my blog is all about?

My blog was titled “Experience the Beautiful Places in Antique”, to make the tourist attracts and endures to visit our place for socio-economic development and entrepreneurship. I want to blog this because our Province needs to recognize not just being hospitable and hardworking of the people but also to appreciate the hidden gem or natural wonders of our place. Also, I chose this topic because I want to give details about what are the possible eco-adventures to experience and where to find the different beautiful tourist destination for family bonding, vacation and etc. My blog will give you the information and story about the treasures of Antique. Antique was now considered as one of a developing Province in Panay because of different investment, business, partnership, tourists and even through capturing various scenery and spots. 

The Province of Antique is rich in natural resources, native products, and wonderful places to spend your time through travels and trips that worth remembering. It has beaches, islands, and beautiful spots perfect in underground water activities (swimming, diving, surfing, and snorkeling), mountain climbing, zip lines, taking pictures, and many more. It also promotes nature adventure activities that would surely enjoy and satisfy of everyone. When it comes in the expenses and safety, the local officer in-charge send a tour guide for assistance and trades the products affordable.
