  Culasi takes great pride in its natural beauty, located 90 km north of San Jose de Buenavista- the capital town, and 88 km south of Kalibo, Aklan. As an ecotourism destination, the main attraction in Culasi is the white and fine sand beach, Malalison Island. It is one of the most beautiful places for summer vacation and travel. It was already featured in some news because of its extraordinary shape and virginity of the island. In Malalison, no eatery, no condominium, no hotels, and no electricity. Just people who have chosen to live with a simple life and depend on their basic needs. From the port, Malalison will reach within fifteen minutes by a small fishing boat. Aside from the grassy and pebbly landscapes, Malalison’s two caves and adjacent islet, Nablag, may also be explored and adventured. This island is rich of marine life living the different kinds of fishes in the limestone coral reef. Malalison is also a dive and snorkeling spot. In Culasi, you can also experience to climb the formidable Mt. Madjaas, the highest peak in Panay. Mt. Madjaas is 2,117 meters above sea level. The summit is approximately 137 degrees inclination. It has 14 waterfalls cascading down its slopes. Many mountaineers already climb and experience the adventurous and magisterial mountain, Mt. Madjaas, as the legend says. So, you can now visit Culasi, Antique to feel the real beauty of its unique islands and beautiful mountains.
